I always quite like to look at table-scapes. What's on it that's dear to the person who laid that table. Does it speak to you?
It's a play of different materials as well in the making of this abstract work as well as what I put on my table.
One of the things is my favorite coffee cup which broke. I got it from a client who especially bought it for me from a French potter and I haven't used any other cup till it broke. Now it lives on.
There's a world of color and play going on underneath that made me arrive at this interesting quieted down composition
